2. Product Descriptions
We strive to ensure all product descriptions, images, and specifications are accurate. However, minor variations in colour, finish, and size may occur due to the natural characteristics of our materials and manufacturing processes.
3. Pricing & Payment
All prices are listed in GBP (£) and include VAT unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to adjust prices without prior notice.
Payment is required in full prior to dispatch unless otherwise agreed. For pre-orders or bespoke products, partial deposits may be taken, with the balance due prior to delivery.
4. Lead Times & Delivery
All lead times provided are estimated and subject to change due to manufacturing or shipping delays. We will communicate any changes promptly.
Delivery charges will be confirmed at checkout or upon order confirmation — see our Delivery & Returns page for current rates. Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery.
5. Returns & Cancellations
Please inspect your goods upon delivery. Any damages, faults, or missing items must be reported within 48 hours — this is an evidential window and does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which apply regardless of when a fault is reported.
Returns of standard products may be accepted within 14 days of delivery, provided goods are unused and in their original packaging, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty. If returned goods are not in resaleable condition, a restocking fee of 20% of the item's value applies, or the return may be refused.
Order cancellations are free of charge within 48 hours of placing the order. After 48 hours, a £15.00 administrative fee applies; bespoke items already in production, or orders over £1,000, may incur a higher case-by-case fee (typically 10% of order value, capped at £150).
Bespoke or made-to-order products cannot be cancelled, exchanged, or refunded once manufacturing has commenced (cancellation must be requested within 24 hours of ordering).

6. Warranty & Guarantee
Our products are covered by guarantees against manufacturing defects that vary by product category: a lifetime guarantee on our stone resin baths, basins and Baustone® Solid Surface countertops (including our TrueWhite™ colourway); a 10-year guarantee on vanity unit cabinetry; a 15-year guarantee on taps and brassware; and, on mirrors, a tiered guarantee — 10 years on standard mirrors, 2 years on illuminated/electrical mirrors, and 7 years on mirrored cabinets with wood elements.
Our Serenity Stone™ Bath Mats do not carry an extended warranty, as diatomite stone can crack or chip under impact or excess weight regardless of manufacturing quality — cover is limited to our standard delivery-fault and 14-day change-of-mind windows.
All guarantees cover manufacturing and material defects but exclude damage from installation, misuse, limescale, improper cleaning, or general wear and tear. See our full Warranty & Guarantees page for details.
7. Installation
All BAULANE® goods must be installed by qualified professionals following the provided instructions and in accordance with local water bylaws. Incorrect installation voids all guarantees and warranties.
8. Liability
Our liability is limited to the repair or replacement of defective goods. We do not accept responsibility for consequential loss, installation costs, or other indirect damages arising from product failure or delays.
9. Trade Accounts
Trade clients may be offered preferential pricing, terms, and conditions at BAULANE®'s discretion. Trade pricing is confidential and intended for registered trade customers only. BAULANE® reserves the right to withdraw or amend trade terms at any time. All trade orders are subject to these Terms & Conditions unless otherwise agreed in writing.
10. Force Majeure
BAULANE® shall not be liable for any failure to perform, or delay in performance, caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including (but not limited to) acts of God, pandemics, war, strikes, supply chain disruptions, material shortages, shipping delays, or changes in law. In such cases, we will notify you as soon as possible and make reasonable efforts to resume normal operations.
11. Intellectual Property
All product designs, imagery, and content on baulane.com are the intellectual property of BAULANE®. Unauthorised use, reproduction, or distribution is strictly prohibited.
12. Right to Amend Terms
BAULANE® reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be published on baulane.com and apply to all future orders placed after the date of publication.
13. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
