Yes. The basin waste (slotted or unslotted) connects to a bottle trap or P-trap below, which provides the water seal to prevent odours and connects the basin to the main waste pipe. You can purchase one from us, here.

Works very well. Water disappears after a few hours. No staining. Dropped toothpaste on it which did leave a mark but can use the sandpaper to remove it.
